- You need 1/2 cup of raw rice.

- Prepare 2 tbsp of chopped coconut.

- It's 1/2 tsp of cumin seeds.
- It's 1/2 tsp of mustard seeds.
- Prepare 1/2 tsp of turmeric powder.
- It's 1 tsp of chilli powder.
- You need 1 pinch of baking powder.

Urad Dal Pancake step by step
- Soak the urad dal and rice separately in water for 6 hours or overnight..
- Drain off the water and rinse both the urad dal and rice well. Add them to a grinder and grind to a thick batter. Transfer the batter to a wide bowl..
- Add all the ingredients (vegetables & spices) except oil to the batter. Mix everything well..
- Heat a nonstick frying pan or griddle and grease it with oil..
- Pour the whole batter mix on the centre and spread it just a little..
- Cover it with a lid and cook on a medium flame for 5-6 minutes till the bottom of the pancake turns golden brown..
- Flip it and add few drops of oil around the edges of the pancake. Cook for another 5-6 minutes till the other side gets golden brown or till just done..
- Remove the pancake to a plate and allow it to cool for few minutes..
- Gently cut the delicious pancake into equal pieces and serve with any kind of chutney of your choice..
